“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”

(Hebrews 12:14 King James Version)

God has called us unto holiness:

“For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.”

(1 Thessalonians 4:7)

God wants to establish us in holiness:

“To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.”

(1 Thessalonians 3:13)

God is trying to produce holiness in us:

“Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.”

(Hebrews 12:9-10)

We are to accept correction and discipline from our heavenly Father if we are true sons, while He endeavours to produce holiness in us.

We are to apply holiness in our lives with God’s help and in obedience to His word:

“Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”

(2 Corinthians 7:1)

There are those who would speak against this message and refer to it as legalism. Be careful friend, you are speaking against God’s message!

God’s holiness is neither legalism nor bondage but is a divine characteristic of His nature and something that He expects to see in each of His children. The flesh and worldliness being promoted in His church right now, He will not tolerate. This is a warning to repent.

If we are led by and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, He will not lead us into bondage or produce any legalism in us.

Holiness means to be set apart. We are to be set apart from this world:

“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”

(James 1:27)

The Holy Spirit is holy and anyone who would claim to walk with Him must also be holy. Biblical grace will produce holiness in us and teach us to turn away from worldliness:

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.”

(Titus 2:11-12)

Holiness is part of the new man, while the old man is worldly:

“As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”

(1 Peter 1:14-16)

If we truly have the fear of God we will be holy:

“Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?”

(2 Peter 3:1-12)

Holiness is something beautiful and we are to worship Him in the beauty of holiness:

“O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.”

(Psalm 96:9)

Come out of sin. God will not accept sinners in His house. There is to be true repentance and holiness. We are to lift up holy hands to pray and worship God. Get those hands holy first, then you can worship God correctly:

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”

(James 4:8)

“I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.”

(1 Timothy 2:8)

Your pastors are wrong (as per usual). Pastors, you will pay a serious price for the sin and worldliness you are allowing in God’s house. You are not to turn God’s house into a circus!
